Meet Kate Truman, 47, wife, Mom, Dance Choreographer and YouTube Content Creator

Kate graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with her BA in Psychology and Minor in Dance. 

Kate is an administrative assistant by day and a YouTuber and Choreographer by night. Besides working full time at a school, she helps the YouTube Community learn about frugal Living, budgeting and personal finance on her Channel called Kate Kaden. She also teaches dance and creates choreography for musicals, dance shows and dance competitions.

Becoming a single Mom was a challenge at first. In fact, she scoured YouTube looking for other Moms to share their ways of making it all work. At the time, there wasn't much out there, so once she started learning how to thrive as a working single parent, she started making videos to share with others that might need the same kind of help at that phase of life. Kate had to learn on the fly. Juggling working many jobs and raising her son is not easy. But in time, she learned how to not only make it work, but then to help others make it work while enjoying life.

She is very passionate about her son. No matter what, he will always be her greatest joy. Beyond being his Mom, Kate loves dance, creating content, empowering women and having deep meaningful conversations that slowly but surely change the world.

Kate values her freedom. She values her right to choose. She values not being held down by what no longer serves her. Freedom is everything.

Advice for other women:

Ladies, make your own money. When you don't have to rely on anyone else to live, you will have a freedom that is priceless. Don't depend on anyone to make your dreams come true.
